Deck Builder in Golden, Colorado
Golden has a little of everything: older homes in town, newer builds on the edges, and hillside houses on Lookout Mountain and up Golden Gate Canyon with views you don't want to waste. We build decks for all of them, and we're straight with you about what each lot actually needs.
City or county? It matters.
Homes inside Golden city limits get permitted through the City of Golden. Lookout Mountain, Golden Gate Canyon and much of the land around town is unincorporated Jefferson County, which has its own wildfire resiliency code. We confirm which building department and which wildfire rules apply to your address before we draw anything.
Decks for hillside views
If your view is the whole reason for the deck, the railing matters as much as the boards. We install cable railing that keeps the view open, on steel or LVL framing built for the height. See Forever Frame steel decks.
Replacing a deck in town
On smaller in-town lots, we focus on getting the most usable space out of the footprint you have: built-in benches, stairs that don't eat the yard, and lighting so the deck still works after sunset.
